Meditation

Meditation practice with Blue Ocean Sangha.

Following the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

Practicing being mindful in all that we do is an essential part of our practice. Thich Nhat Hanh suggests that each of us personally set aside one day of the week to be completely mindful.  We meet every Sunday evening from 6pm to 8pm for sitting and walking meditation, and a Dharma teaching and discussion at Miami Life Center.

Sangha Meeting Practice Schedule

On Sunday evenings, starting at 6pm, we practice together at the Miami Life Center as follows:

– Sitting meditation (20 minutes)
– Walking meditation (20 minutes)
– Sitting meditation (20 minutes)
– Dharma talk (we listen to a teaching for 20 minutes)
– Dharma discussion (we discuss the teaching and other topics of practice for 30 minutes)
– Loving-kindness meditation (we extend compassion to all beings for 10 minutes)

We look forward to having you practice with us!

Blue Ocean Sangha is a lay Buddhist community that practices mindfulness by following the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

Ayurveda
Ayurveda literally translates as the “Knowledge of Life”. Ayurveda arose within the context of the yoga system as a means to prolong the lifespan of human beings and thus can be regarded as the healing branch or medical side of the system of yoga. This does not mean that it is a religious dogma but a way of unfolding our spiritual and physical potentials.
We offer individual consultations as well as workshops.
Fully dedicated to the practice and teachings of yoga and Ayurveda, Jesus Caballero has been involved in the art of healing and inner development for over 12 years. He is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner from the renown Ayurvedic Institute, certified yoga teacher, and Pancha Karma Practitioner, as well as a national certified massage therapist, pranayama instructor, and reiki master.
